Random breed of Acanthicus adonis

Hello dear catfish friends,

Rarely is there any report about the offspring of very large catfish. I may inform you about the random offspring of Acanticus adonis.

The male was about 60 cm tall and the female was about 50 – 55 cm long.

In 2021 the Acanthicus adonis breed in a wooden tank measuring 210 x 300 x 117 cm.

The water parameters were approximately:

The parents probably spawned in a clay cave attached to the side.

The small Acanthicus adonis were only noticed when they were about 3 – 5 cm in size.
