Keeping in (small) groups is recommended. Individual keeping is possible.
Animal care
They are jumpy and very sensitive to poor water conditions and lack of oxygen. They are very stiff and thus room engaging.
120cm-tank is an absolute minimus. 40 cm heigth is almost to low.
They displace Pterosturisoma microps from food and from territory.
24°C is the lowest limit. Flow is important.
