I would like to present you three articles from the actual edition of the magazine “Amazonas”: <\/p>\n

Daniel Wewer “Ten days on the R\u00edo Nanay” (“Zehn Tage auf dem R\u00edo Nanay”)<\/h2>\n

Daniel Wewer reports about his trip to the Rio Nanay. There he searched for Nannostomus mortenthaleri. <\/p>\n

His way leads to a nature reserve. Therefore he had to undertake not to catch any fish. He also got a watchman. <\/p>\n

He could observe Nanostomus mortenthaleri. In catfishes he found Corydoras<\/em> sp. \u201cC 53\u201d and Hemiodontichthys acipenserinus<\/em><\/a>. <\/p>\n

Hans-Georg Evers “Very rare!” (“Ganz sch\u00f6n selten!”)<\/h2>\n

Pier Aquatics in England could import Corydoras desana<\/em> , which was described only a short time before (before Corydoras<\/em> sp. \u201cCW 11\u201d). They live together with Corydoras tukano<\/em> on the alto Rio Negro, near the border between Brazil and Colombia. Both species have a poison gland on the pectoral fin ray.<\/p>\n

Hans-Georg Evers “Corydoras sp. CW 112”<\/h2>\n

Hans reports about the very rare imported Corydoras<\/em> sp. \u201cNew evelynae\u201d. Now they have the code number \u201cCW 112\u201d. These species should live in the tributaries of the Rio Pur\u00fas. The female has a size of 5 cm.<\/p>\n
