Hans-Georg Evers “Stanley Howard Weitzman 16.03.1927 16.02.2017”<\/h2>\n

In February of 2017 Stanley Howard Weitzman died. He was one of the most important ichthyologists of our time. Hans appreciates his lifework.
\nIn 1971 Nijssen named a Corydoras<\/em> after Stanley Howard Weitzman: Corydoras weitzmani<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Andreas Tanke “Do the aquaristic be the last chance of the fishes from Rio Xingu? (“Ist die Aquaristik die letzte Chance f\u00fcr Fische des Rio Xingu?”)<\/h2>\n

Andreas Tanke reports about a project from Leandro Sousa. Leandro Sousa tries to maintain and to reproduce catfishes from the rio Xingu in tanks in Altamira.<\/p>\n

Andreas Tanke “Baryancistrus xanthellus ‘Verde'”<\/h2>\n

In this article there Andreas Tanke presents (again) a flashy Baryancistrus xanthellus<\/em> from rio Xingu which in old age is very similar to Baryancistrus chrysolomus<\/em> (L 47)<\/a>. This form we already know from a presentation by Frank Sch\u00e4fer in 2011. He called this form Baryancistrus<\/em> sp. “L 81N”<\/a>.<\/p>\n
