Harald Jahn f\u00fchrt uns in seinem Artikel weit nach Osten. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Tiere der Unterfamilie Glyptosterninae<\/em>. Im Gegensatz zu den Saugwelsen S\u00fcdamerikas und den gerade oben genannten aus Afrika verf\u00fcgen diese Saugwelse \u00fcber kein Saugmaul. Sie saugen sich mit Hautfalten fest. Der Saugapparat \u00e4hnelt denen von Geckos. Der Autor geht etwas n\u00e4her auf die importierten Arten aus Indien: Glyptothorax<\/em> sp. und aus Thailand Glyptothorax lampris<\/em> und Glyptothorax trilineatus<\/em> ein. Er nennt in dem Artikel auch die wichtigsten Haltungsbedingungen.
