Ernst-Otto von Drachenfels "Im Lebensraum von Corydoras geoffroy Lac\u00e9p\u00e8de, 1803"<\/h3>\n

(\u201eIn habitat of Corydoras geoffroy Lac\u00e9p\u00e8de, 1803\u201c)<\/p>\n

\nThe author writes about the type species of Corydoras<\/em>, Corydoras geoffroy<\/em>. At first Ernst Otto von Drachenfels tells the \u201eliterary history\u201c of this species and describes the differences to Corydoras punctatus<\/em>. In spring of 2015, on an excursion from Aqua-Media-TV this species was caught in French Guyana. Particularly striking was the sexual dimorphism. It was observed that Corydoras geoffroy<\/em> is diurnal, spawns in streams on wood at a temperature of 24\u00b0C, a PH value of 5.5 and a conductivity of 10\u00b5S\/cm.<\/p>\n

\nHans regrets that special fine specimens of Corydoras<\/em> \u2013 here Corydoras<\/em> sp. “CW 04” \u2013 come as individual animals in Asian collections. It would be better if experienced breeders get these species.<\/p>\n

\nErik reports on the breeding of Tatia dunni<\/span><\/a>. He fed living white mosquito larvaes for a long time. The breeding was relatively easy with powdered food and artemia. The scrims have a size from 150 to 200 eggs.<\/p>\n
