{"id":25808,"date":"2015-06-29T17:05:39","date_gmt":"2015-06-29T15:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/datz-072015-wels-presseschau-2\/"},"modified":"2015-10-04T20:35:23","modified_gmt":"2015-10-04T18:35:23","slug":"datz-072015-wels-presseschau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/datz-072015-wels-presseschau\/","title":{"rendered":"DATZ 07\/2015 \u2013 Catfish Press Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello catfish freaks,<\/p>\n<p>today I want to introduce you in two articles from the current issue of DATZ (07\/2015):<\/p>\n<h3>Haakon Haagensen und Daniel Konn-Vetterlein &quot;Ein weiterer Phantomwels aus Kolumbien&quot; (&#038;quot:Another phantom pleco from Colombia&quot;)<\/h3>\n<p>\nThe authors report the catch and import of a pleco which body is similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=291\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;<span id=\"lk\">Hemisancistrus<\/span>&quot; <span id=\"lk\">subviridis<\/span> (L 200)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art_lnr=128\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;<span id=\"lk\">Hemiancistrus<\/span>&quot; sp. &quot;L 128&quot;<\/a>. This new form comes from R\u00edo Vaup\u00e9s in Columbia(\/Brazil). In difference to <em>Hemiancistrus subviridis<\/em> (green) and <em>Hemiancistrus<\/em> sp. \u201cL128\u201d (blue) this pleco have a black color. Therefore this form we also call Black Phantom Pleco.<br \/>\nNow we have together with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art_lnr=290\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;<span id=\"lk\">Baryancistrus<\/span>&quot; <span id=\"lk\">demantoides<\/span> (L 200 HiFin)<\/a> four Phantom Plecos.<br \/>\nThe new form got the L-number L476. So we call this form <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art_lnr=476\" target=\"_blank\">&quot;<span id=\"lk\">Hemiancistrus<\/span>&quot; sp. &quot;L476&quot;<\/a>.<br \/>\nOn the other side: after the redescription of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=529\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Hemiancistrus medians<\/span><\/a> the genus <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsgattung\/?gattung_name=Hemiancistrus\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Hemiancistrus<\/span><\/a> is monotypic, because all other described \u201c<em>Hemiancistrus<\/em>\u201d are very different to the type specie. In this sense we can also call this new form as <em>Ancistrini<\/em> sp. \u201cL476\u201d.<br \/>\nIn the same article we can read about a <em>Hypancistrus<\/em> from R\u00edo Vaup\u00e9s which is similar to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art_lnr=102\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Hypancistrus inspector<\/span> (L102)<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=2032\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Hypancistrus cf. inspector<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Uwe Werner &quot;Die Fische des R\u00edo Cataniapo&quot; (&quot;The fishes of R\u00edo Cataniapo&quot;)<\/h3>\n<p>\nThe R\u00edo Cataniapo is a right-sided tributary of the R\u00edo Orinoco. The R\u00edo Cataniapo is only few minutes by car south of Puerto Ayacucho. This river is a good destination for a \u201cday of rest\u201d in Puerto Ayacucho. (Another report from Rio Cataniapo you can found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/portfolio\/rio-cataniapo\/\" target=\"_blank\">there<\/a>.)<br \/>\nUwe Werner informs about the fishes from Rio Cataniapo. For example: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=194\" target=\"_blank\">Guyanancistrus\/&quot;<span id=\"lk\">Hemiancistrus<\/span>&quot; <span id=\"lk\">guahiborum<\/span> (L 106)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=1775\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Liosomadoras oncinus<\/span><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=1834\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Tatia aulopygia<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedamerikafans.de\/en\/wels-datenbank\/welsart\/?art=1669\" target=\"_blank\"><span id=\"lk\">Platydoras armatulus<\/span><\/a>. You can also read about fishes without plecos like Satanoperca daemon, Geophagus taeniopareius, Satanoperca mapiritensis, Crenicichla sp. &#8220;Oricoco&#8221;, Mesonauta insignis, Leporellus vittatus, Leporinus niceforoi, Leporinus brunneus.<br \/>\nUwe Werner writes also information about keeping this fishes in aquariums.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy reading of
