Hello catfish friends,<\/p>\n

a few weeks ago my friend Andr\u00e9 Thierfelder succeeded the reproduction of Peckoltia<\/span> sp. \u201cRio Nhamunda\u201d<\/a>. A previous breeding of this species is not known. Congratulations, Andr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The group consists of five animals, 3 males and 2 females.<\/p>\n

The aquarium has a length from 100 cm, 160 liter. Only these Peckoltia are in the aquarium, no other fishes.
\nThe aquarium have a Hamburger Mattenfilter with air lift, caves for catfishes, plates of slate and roots. It was not used substrate.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 fed about 80% pellets (Dupla, Genzel, JBL) and 20% frozen food. <\/p>\n

He made a rest period of 3 months.
\nThereafter, he has changed the water between 70% and 90%.
\nThe water values: temperature about 29\u00b0C, pH about 7, KH3, GH 6, conductivity 270 \u2013 300 \u00b5S\/cm.<\/p>\n

Clutch size: 20 -30.<\/p>\n
